Tips to keep up a regular gratitude practice
First of all, understand that you are doing this for yourself and your personal well-being.
Secondly, if you have a morning or evening routine, consider making your gratitude journal prompts part of your daily routine. It is easier to tag a new healthy habit onto an existing healthy habit, just make sure that the flow of your routine is not interrupted.
Thirdly, whenever you feel like skipping your daily gratitude practice, remind yourself of the benefits your daily gratitude practice has brought into your life and how it has changed your well-being so far.
Tip: We tend to drop our good habits when we feel strong, however, this is the whole point. Keep in mind that your healthy habits create the foundation for your happiness. If we are not consistent, our foundation will start to shake and eventually break.
